Licensee Terms of Service

These Licensee Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Parley for licensing creative works.

To use Parley as a Licensee: - You must register with accurate company information - Designate authorised representatives - Accept these Terms and the API Terms of Use - Complete any required verification processes

When licensing works through Parley: - Licences are non-exclusive unless explicitly stated - Terms vary by catalogue and rights org - Licences cover specified use cases (training, commercial, generative) - Usage is tracked via certificate verification

Each licence includes: - A cryptographic certificate listing all licensed ISCCs - API access for real-time verification - Automatic updates when catalogue contents change - Webhook notifications for certificate updates

Payment for licences: - Must be made via Stripe - Supports one-time or subscription billing - Is held until content delivery confirmation - Is non-refundable except as required by law

Licensed works may NOT be: - Used beyond the scope of your licence - Redistributed to third parties - Used to train models that generate replica works - Sublicensed without explicit permission

Licensees agree to: - Maintain records of ISCC verifications - Allow reasonable audit of usage (with notice) - Report any suspected unauthorised use - Comply with certificate expiry dates

Licences may be terminated: - At the end of the licence period - For breach of these Terms - For non-payment - Upon mutual agreement
